About Us

My name is Albert Kirchmayr. One of my fondest memories of growing up in a small village in Bavaria is eating fine chocolates on special occasions. It was a tradition to give and receive these delicious candies, making celebrations even more memorable.

As I pursued a career, my love of food preparation led me to seek an apprenticeship as a chef. I ventured throughout Europe to enhance my skills. When my travels brought me here to the United States, I discovered that the tradition of giving fine chocolate was not as widespread in America. So, I returned to Europe to study the art of candy making, and I came back to the U.S. with a clear mission.

Kirchmayr Chocolatier opened its doors in 1985 to establish the tradition I knew as a child: the giving of fine chocolates for holidays and all occasions. Our small, dedicated team strives to provide you with the freshest and finest chocolates you can find. When you give Kirchmayr chocolates, your friends, family and clients will receive the best confections possible.
